Modern Masters
Chihuly at Chelsea Barracks

New Public curates ‘Modern Masters’, a free outdoor programme of contemporary art in partnership with London Craft Week. This site-specific annual programme celebrates the role of craftsmanship behind the work of modern masters - since without ancient skills such as welding, casting, glassblowing, and carving, modern art would not exist as it does today.

Chelsea Barracks presents the inaugural edition of the public art initiative ‘Chihuly at Chelsea Barracks’ from May-October, 2024. Showcasing a selection of works by renowned American artist Dale Chihuly throughout Chelsea Barracks in Belgravia, the exhibition welcomes the public to explore Chihuly’s glass sculptures amongst its architecture and public grounds. An accompanying selection of works on display at The King’s Foundation in Garrison Chapel until the end of May.
